The Artist
The eye of the artist is undervalued, but it is a magical asset—the power to transform ordinary to extraordinary. The more personal the artist’s mission, the more ebullient the art. Early on, I decided that creativity is a mode that I had to master in my lifetime. An idea intrigues me, and I spend years exploring it. It becomes important for me to translate and communicate my new understanding, using whatever medium available. My creative journey began with visual art, next literary art, followed by documentary, then dramatic art. Discovering a way to use creativity in the natural sciences by infusing artistic study of shape and form with topology, physics and journalistic investigation was deeply rewarding. After many years, I realize the finest art is not what’s produced. It is each dance with inspiration, choreographed by the eye of the artist in a series of internal melodies and movements, intersecting across a lifetime, threading the quiet brilliance of one’s entire existence into a few small treasures.

Visual Arts
I have always been attracted to natural forms and portrait art. While an undergraduate student, I was not able to develop creativity in visual arts. After graduating, an extended trip to South America exposed me to Brazilian modernist Tarsila do Amaral. I was inspired by the emotion that color brought to the art. Today, the influence of artistic expressionism is strong in my writing.
