GEOPHYSICAL SPATIAL TOPOLOGY
When I was a geology student, I was disappointed by the rigidity of some of the fundamental laws governing the science. I wished there was more creativity in geoscience, so I developed Geophysical Spatial Topology (GST). GST is a method for understanding physical dynamics of interstellar bodies. Consider that topology is the mathematical study of shapes, and physics is the mathematical study of motion. GST is the creative study of how shape manifests from motion in matter. GST begins with geometric analysis of space and matter, followed by artistic analysis of matter, form and the impact of motion on form. This involves extensive illustrative modeling. From there, homeomorphisms of current and absent topological objects are identified. This leads to identification of topological objects, structural signatures, historical motion, etc., which provides information about the physical history of a planet and allows researchers to make predictions. For example, by applying physics at this stage to Earth, we can predict the future motion of the geomagnetic pole. By reapplying topology at this stage we can isolate deep focus Earthquakes via knot systems, leading to better science. GST can be applied to Earth, planets, moons, stars, and nebulae.
